Two men threaten Walmart employee, rob store

BEAUMONT - Beaumont Police have arrested attackers who threatened a worker at Walmart in Beaumont and stole a cash drawer before driving away.

On Wednesday, July 2 at 2:14 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at Walmart, 4145 Dowlen Road. According to investigators, two black men walked into the store, popped a secured drawer, removed a large amount of cash and threatened an employee. The attackers ran toward Kohl`s to a black Chevrolet Impala. A third person was in the driver's seat.   

Officers spotted the Impala heading south on Dowlen Road away from the scene. Officers stopped the driver at Gladys and Dowlen Road.  The suspects were identified as: Jariot Culbert, 29, of Houston; Demetrius Proctor, 23 year, Houston; and Nathan Rachal, 22, of Houston.    

Officers recovered the stolen money and other evidence from the robbery.   The three suspects were arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. They were booked for Aggravated Robbery.
