Exhibit honors Texas veterans who died in Vietnam war

Tuesday, organizers of Texas Vietnam Heroes set up their exhibit at Edison Plaza in downtown Beaumont.
It opens Wednesday and remains open through October 6.
The traveling memorial contains more than 3,000 dog tags representing each Texan killed in Southeast Asia.
We spoke with the creator about the Vietnam War and the importance of remembering those who fought and died.
The Beaumont City Council recognized the men and women who brought the exhibit to Southeast Texas with a proclamation at today's meeting.
