VIDOR - Investigators with the Vidor Police Department are asking for help in finding a 2006-2008 Chrysler 300 sedan officers believe may be linked to a fatal auto-pedestrian accident.
Richard B. Sanford, 48, of Vidor, died in the accident at about 11 p.m. Thursday, October 3 in the eastbound service road between FM 1135 and Cow Bayou.
Investigators say the vehicle will have extensive damage to the front left side that should be obvious to anyone who sees it.
Detective Mark Steele is asking anyone who regularly sees that type of vehicle at a home, business or other location, and no longer sees it, or if they notice such a vehicle with extensive damage to the left front side, to contact Vidor Police.
