Orange hosts state's largest scarecrow festival
The largest scarecrow display in the state of Texas is coming to Shangri La in Orange.
The fifth annual Scarecrow Festival kicks off tomorrow with more than 60 scarecrows on display.
Various community organizations, businesses and schools are participating.
The hand-crafted scarecrows range from serious to funny. For example, one from an accounting firm said "Accountants never die... They just lose the their balance," and a scarecrow representing an accountant laid on the ground.
There's even some thought-provoking ones and scary ones.
The scarecrow exhibits will be on display to the public beginning tomorrow through November 9.
